Super Mario Bros. - uncolored line art

I sketched and inked this drawing of the Mario bros. while at Animation and Gaming Ohio 2009. It’s looking pretty rough at the moment, but if I get some time, I may clean it up and add some color.

Lucca

I’m a big fan of Chrono Trigger, one of the best RPGs on the Super Nintendo, if not of all time. One of the reasons I’m a fan is that Lucca is awesome.

GameStop?

November 18, 2008

I’m going for an interview this week (possibly today) for a job at GameStop.  I think this would be cool, though I also fear I would be intimidated by other employees’ (and customers’) more expansive knowledge of video games.

Perhaps I will go back to reading more Penny Arcade.

The whole Tom Bleakly experience has been a mixed one so far. I mean, I’ve only written nine pages- and I was scared at first that was not enough to call a “Chapter.” But I’ve been trying to improve myself lately and pour all types of good and classic fiction into my head, and it turns out that Ernest Hemingway has a chapter (a first chapter, actually) that’s just four and a half pages. That’s a little bit comforting to me. I’ve been thinking a lot about writing lately- thinking in a vacuum, unfortunately, since I’ve had precious little feedback- and I think I’d like to try to get about four polished pages written every day. I’ll need to work up to that, since my comfort zone right now is more along the lines of two pages- but four on a daily basis and more as circumstances require seems like a reasonable thing to exact of oneself.

Enough random crap, it’s time for story.
