On Suction

So this past Sunday, THiRST, the young-adult (from college age to twentysomething) group at my church had a Q&A panel for the high school kids–where they could ask about college, life after college, the THiRST group, and whatever else. Lauren remarked on the tight-knit-ness of the group, but how it’s also easy to get integrated into it, giving her own example: she’s been attending for a little under a year now, and she quickly felt like a welcome and longtime member. “It’s like a vacuum cleaner, it sucks you in,” she said. To which Rod, the THiRST ministry leader, responded, “Our new motto. THiRST: we suck!”

When I got home that evening, I drew this thing up.

A new entry for your “list of things you will never see on a THiRST t-shirt.” Funny story.
