Pear Pear and xkcd

xkcd did a fantastic parody of House of Leaves this morning, entitled House of Pancakes.  Granted, I haven’t finished the book yet (I got distracted by Margaret Atwood’s “The Blind Assassin”), but I’ve read enough to see it’s spot on.

In other webcomics news, I read all of Pear Pear over last weekend.  A wordless comic about fruit?  I’m there!  I don’t always get it, but when I do, it’s amazing.  Click here for my favorite one.

I’m gonna try to get something up this evening about Pear Pear on This Week in Webcomics.  For now, second day of class beckons.  Beckons hard.
