(NOTE: Story since very slightly edited for word choice)
He loved to play driving games. Seeing how fast his car could go, following people (men tended to wait longer before calling the police), playing chicken with oncoming traffic…
One day, he decided to try to stay in someone’s blind spot. It was tough, but he finally got the hang of speeding up and slowing down, staying with them so they just barely couldn’t see you. Drove people crazy. By the end of the day, though, it seemed like people weren’t as bothered by it. Eventually, he went back to following people, but that didn’t seem to faze anyone either anymore.
It took him a long time to realize what had happened, and a longer time still to find others who had fallen into humanity’s blind spot. When he did, though, it was all the more fun to freak them out by following them in his car.
